GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)

Under new regulations starting 25th May 2018, all organisations have an increased responsibility for the personally identifiable information we hold. St Mary’s will only hold information through consent and for carrying out the duties and responsibilities of the church, both legally and pastorally.

The PCC have undertaken a full data audit, and all personally identifiable information is held either in secure lockable filing cabinets or using encrypted documents. Computers used significantly for church matters are completely encrypted.

All PCC members use Microsoft Office 365 accounts for email and storage (where applicable). All data on Office 365 is secured and held in the UK.
