Organist, John Hardcastle
On Wednesday 1st September 2010, our organist (John Hardcastle) is giving an organ recital on our new custom built 3 manual Viscount Physis organ. The concert starts at 12.15pm and will last approximately 45 minutes.
Admission is free and refreshments (tea, coffee and sandwiches) will be available for a small cost from 12 noon to 12.15pm
The programme will be:
- Choral Song (S.S. Wesley)
- Arrival of the Queen of Sheba (G.F. Handel)
- We’ve Only Just Begun (R. Nichols and P. Williams)
- In a Persian Market and In a Monastery Garden (A. Ketelebey)
- Elizabethan Serenade (R. Binge)
- Toccata in D Minor (J.S. Bach)
Any donations towards the restoration of the stained glass window (mediaeval) would be gratefully received.
