  • Meet George and Jemima

    Meet George and Jemima

At our All-Age worship this morning the theme was about us being adopted as God’s children. As regular worshippers will know, Charlie and Alice make frequent appearances in this service, but as they have moved house with Amanda and Derek, we have adopted two new puppets ourselves. Following a competition in the service this morning,…

  • DIY Nativity

A fairly new tradition at St Mary’s is instead of having a rehearsed Nativity play, children turn up on the Sunday morning and take part in whichever role they can. As you can imagine, this can be a little chaotic, but as Amanda always reminds us, the first Christmas hardly took place to a detailed…

  • Easter Sunday Banner

This superb banner was made by children at the Children’s Activity Morning last Saturday. Each child made a butterfly to represent the new life of Easter, and they were all stuck to this banner which was hung high above the chancel of the church for Easter Sunday!

  • Easter Pictures

The children at the local Hill Top Primary School have been drawing pictures about Holy Week and Easter. We have displayed the pictures around church from today, Palm Sunday. The pictures start with Palm Sunday, go through Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and finally Easter Sunday. Palm Sunday Maundy Thursday Good Friday   Easter Sunday
